TED-Ed Club @ Epistemo
Inspiring Young Minds to Share “Ideas Worth Spreading”
At Epistemo, the TED-Ed Club is more than a club; it's a vibrant space where students dive into their passions, share impactful ideas, and dare to dream big. Aligned with the internationally acclaimed TED-Ed program, this club empowers our students to become confident speakers, critical thinkers, and inspiring young leaders as they explore topics close to their hearts and relevant to our global society.
What Our TED-Ed Club Offers
Our TED-Ed Club takes students on an exciting journey through workshops, discussions, and activities designed to help them craft their very own TED-style talks. Students progress from brainstorming ideas to honing their storytelling skills, with every step encouraging deeper thinking and self-expression. In our supportive and dynamic environment, students build their confidence in public speaking, collaborate on shared ideas, and create presentations that make a difference.
Skills Developed in TED-Ed Club
Public Speaking Confidence: Regular presentation practice allows students to articulate their ideas clearly, expressively, and with poise.
Critical Thinking and Research: The club encourages students to thoroughly explore their topics, helping them deliver insightful, well-researched talks that resonate.
Creative Expression: TED-Ed Club promotes innovation and originality, giving students the freedom to share unique perspectives in compelling ways.
Community Building: Through collaboration and feedback, students form a strong support network, inspiring and learning from one another.
How does the Club work?
Meeting weekly, our TED-Ed Club guides students through idea mapping, storytelling, and presentation refinement. The journey culminates in an exhilarating TED-Ed Club Showcase, where students proudly present their talks to an audience of peers, teachers, and family members, celebrating their growth and sharing their "ideas worth spreading" with the entire school community.
